Feed the mind to fight world hunger

In one of the blogs that I usually review dedicated mainly to the gastronomic topic, I got a note related to an educational resource that I find very interesting. Feeding Minds, Fighting Hunger It is a global education initiative to train teachers, young people and students to get actively involved in the dream of a world free from hunger.

The program is supported by the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations). The information is divided into levels of education (elementary, intermediate and secondary) and is available in several languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. What are hunger and malnutrition? Who is malnourished? Why does hunger exist in the world? And what can we do to help eradicate hunger and malnutrition? These are some of the topics that focus on the different lessons. The intention is to raise awareness among younger people about these problems and the possibilities of solving them. Maybe that way we can one day make the dream of a world without hunger come true ...
