Family stress may cause allergies in children

Due to various factors such as tobacco, environmental pollution and even temperature changes, allergies in children have increased considerably in recent years.

This weekend I read about a study that researchers are developing in Germany that has found that Family stress that could be caused by situations such as separation from parents, the loss of a family member or a move could trigger allergic reactions in children.

According to specialists there are some indications that the immune system serves as an intermediary between stress and allergies and on the basis of this and to achieve a better understanding, German researchers advance this study called LISA (Lifestyle - Immune - System - Allergy) with the that try to detect what factors of daily life influence the health of children and within the framework of which they have been observing a group of 3000 children born between 1997 and 1999.

Apparently after studying the cases of these children, researchers have seen their suspicions increase that some family situations can trigger allergic reactions in children, however they cannot assert it due to the limited study.

I believe that situations of family stress such as parental separation affect the well-being of children, of course there are also cases where family stress and stress due to problems between parents, without the need for a separation cause much distress in the little ones, even minor situations like a house change, upset their routine and that can cause them anxiety.

Now, if they can trigger an allergic process, I don't know, because I'm not a specialist. But the truth is that before a difficult situation in the family, we must always think about how to make it more bearable for our children and it is very important not to leave them relegated, thinking that because they are small they do not realize it or they will overcome it, because even the most little ones perceive the tension and stress that could be at home and although they do not manifest it because they do not know how to express it they suffer from anxiety and sooner or later in some way or another they are manifested.
