Reagan is a Labradoodle dog (cross between Labrador Retriever and Australian Poodle) whom we had met months ago and who became a true Instagram star, where we can see him in his day-to-day adventures.
What we didn't know is the Poignant story that unites this adopted dog and his inseparable adventure partner, Buddy, a three-year-old boy who was abandoned by his biological parents and also adopted by the family when he was 11 months old.
Destined to meet
There were no plans for Buddy to be part of the family, nor his furry friend, but apparently fate had other plans for them: unite their lives.
When he was an eight week old puppy, Reagan was adopted by the family. They thought it would be a good company to help the mother overcome the pain for the loss of two foster children that had to be returned before Buddy came into her life.
For its part, the child also has a history of abandonment. His parents disregarded him and went on to be supervised by his grandparents, who also did not want to have him. With just three months ended in an orphanage, and at eleven months he was adopted by his new family.
The boy was sad, he lacked joy, but his four-legged brother would soon smile back.
His mother remembers that the union between the two was immediate. A connection between two beings with a similar story, which at the beginning was sad, but fortunately now has a happy ending. Life found them to make each other happier.
Since they first saw each other they became inseparable. They are companions of games, of adventures, take baths together, sleep the naps embraced, go sailing and even dress the same. There is nothing one does without the other.
"The real touching story of Reagan and Little Buddy needed to be told," says the mother.
A solidarity story
Since their lives were found, his mother began taking pictures together and uploading them to an Instagram account to publicize this special relationship that unites them.
They are so adorable that right away the duo became famous. So, it occurred to him to create a calendar and soon a book "Reaganddodle and Little Buddy" (which will go on sale this year), both with a solidary end.
The proceeds from its sale is donated to help homeless children They are in adoption processes. A beautiful story that makes us believe that when things are not going well, fate can surprise us with good things.
Now joined the family a new sister which both care with all the love.
