Sometimes we do not know what to give to a baby, it is difficult to succeed with the tastes of parents, they already have everything or, simply, we would like to offer a more personalized gift for that new person who is going to come to the world.
If that is your case, knitting an amigurumi to give to a baby is a gift full of meaning And full of love.
Amigurumis are much more than cute and very fashionable dolls. The amigurumis have a very special meaning, because it is believed that each of them has a soul and that, full of good wishes, they will become a faithful companion of that baby to whom we give it to them.
Beyond how precious they are and the virguerías that some manage to do simply with some wool (or cotton thread) and crochet hooks, these little dolls promote values such as unconditional support, friendship and complicity, in addition to allowing us to play With the child we carry inside.
Are they difficult to knit? Judging by the DIY fever we have right now, the huge amount of kits they sell to make them and the courses offered to learn, I would say no. The amiguruimis are almost always woven in low point making increases or decreases around a circle and then sewing the different parts of which they are composed.
