The origin of the LEGO world

LEGO born in 1932 by the hand of Ole Kirk Kristiansen, a Danish carpenter who started making wooden toys.

LEGO is perhaps the best known brand of construction and entertainment games in the world and has been having fun and entertaining young and old for almost 100 years. As a goal of the company, it has always been to train the future builders of each country through fun and play.

He brick which is currently known born in 1958 and since then all the elements are compatible with each other. Total, There are approximately 4,200 different elements of LEGO which can be found in 58 colors. Each item is available in different colors and decorations, so There are 9,000 possible combinations of LEGO pieces.

Game experiences for all ages

There are several lines of play that we can find in LEGO, all of them designed and adapted to cover wide margins of ages, ranging from 18 months to 12 years. Although they leave me a box of those and I have fun for the whole afternoon.

LEGO DUPLO: for children between 18 months and five years. Designed with large bricks to make it easier for children to create their own LEGO universe.

LEGO City: it's the line more classic from the entire LEGO range and is especially aimed at children between 5 and 12 years old. The adventures take place in a city where rescuers by land, sea and air, construction works and transport are protagonists.

LEGO Friends: specially designed for girls from 5 to 12 years old. For its development LEGO was based on a study carried out to mothers and daughters from all over the world, gathering their tastes and preferences, with the aim of offering new gaming experiences.

LEGO Chima: the newest range, was born at the beginning of 2013 and there are five different game forms: game sets, social games (Speedorz), Constraction, online videogames and LEGO Games.

I find it most interesting this new play space for our children, especially for those with whom it is not easy to go shopping (on the other hand very understandable, but do not tell my children) and thus be able to let them play in a LEGO world while we look for something that enters us after the Christmas menus.
