When in the year 1978 the movie was released Superman, of which our fellow Blog Blogs make a great review, I was the age my daughter is now. Thirty-five years later the film is released The man of steel and surely she will not have the same feeling as for me, and surely for many of the children of my generation, that movie meant. And is that Superman was the total hero, the one who saved us from all problems, the one who sacrificed himself for all and who also came to change the course of history so that his beloved did not die. I remember that movie had it in a chrome album that I managed to complete and that included frames of the most relevant scenes of the movie. That album was like a current Youtbe or an imdb or a Twitter in which you had all the knowledge of the movie.
I'm reviewing the movie of the year 2006, Superman returns, which I had not seen at the time and the feeling is fantastic so I'm waiting for this version of 2013 to see what new adventures Superman lives. In the 2013 version, the director is Zack Snyder (the 300 and Watchmen) and the leading actor is Henry Cavill (with new suit), the premiere in Spain is June 21, 2013 although in many countries it has been released this weekend. Among the actors in the movie are Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as the editor-in-chief and Diana Lane and Kevin Costner in the role of Clark Kent's adoptive parents. Father Jor-El is now Russel Crowe.
What worries most about the movie is the Cristopher Nolan participation, producer of the latest Batman movies. The concern comes because lately it seems that superheroes have to apologize for what they do and submit to a politically correct state, situation, environment and behavior.
And although I think Superman may have a human condition that makes him think things the truth is that Superman is the total hero. He who never suffers, feels, or suffers, he who destroys the wicked and he who saves humanity. And it seems to me that it is essential to know that although white and black can be placed many grays the reference of white is important to keep it.
I am looking forward to the premiere to go to the movies and especially to see the response of the child although at a time when paper albums have gone down in history, the good and the bad have a hard time differentiating them and the total heroes are in the doldrums I have no idea what it will mean to her and especially if you are going to differentiate between many grays that can be seen on television and on the Internet.
And we will have to see if it includes the John Williams music. A wonder that we continued humming many years later and that helped lift the figure of Superman through the air with a staging full of metals.
