Plastic caps and the solidary use of their recycling

The more I read about the stories of solidarity plugs I feel more willing to save them all and to participate in the process of channeling them to people who can make good use of them. And is that With each ton of plastic caps collected, the recycler brings the amount of 200 to 300 euros which can be used to pay for treatments for children with rare diseases. So at least Macarena told us a few months ago and it remains one of the most supportive options to add value to recycling.

The data on the recycling of corks are spectacular, for example, the SEUR Foundation, which has collaborated in the transfer of the corks to the Acteco recycler in several campaigns informs that they have collaborated more than 13 million people collecting plastic caps and recycling more than 1,000 tons of plugs, which has allowed the recycling company to donate more than 300,000 euros. They are data full of interest and that demonstrate the solidarity of the Spaniards. Thanks to this generosity in these campaigns, 21 children have been able to access the financial assistance necessary to cover the costs of their illness.

And it is that until a little over two years ago the plugs were no concern and ended up in the recycling container, however now they are essential for families who demand help that is very difficult to find due to the reduction of costs in the Administrations .

The collection points of the plugs are everywhere, in schools, shops, bars, pharmacies, work centers and many more. From there the logistics first and the recycling company later, are responsible for making, thanks to the solidarity of all those involved in the process, families can have liquidity to meet the costs to improve the health of their children.

And the caps that are worth are those of water bottles, soft drinks and milk, detergents, bath gels, etc. They are all worth as long as they are plastic!
