Halloween: three last-minute homemade costumes

The night of Halloween It is a celebration that children especially enjoy. If you still do not have a costume for your little one, and as we think you can do very nice things without spending money, we give you some ideas to do three last-minute homemade costumes.

You can make very original costumes at home with scraps, sheets, old clothes, dad and mom's clothes, and even with paper. Just have a little imagination. Take note of these three simple costumes to make in a few minutes.

Spider costume

A spider costume is a resource very fun and easy to do. You will need two or three pairs of black socks, fill them with newspaper and sew them on the back of a black t-shirt. You can join the legs together with thread to make it easier to move.

The child has to dress in leotards or black pants and finally, do not forget the detail of the black hat with glued eye stickers. You can also make your eyes on a cardboard and paste or sew them.

Ghost costume

Nothing more help than a ghost costume. And super easy to do. You need a white sheet to which you cut two holes for the eyes and two holes on the sides for the arms. Take care that the sheet does not drag on the ground to prevent them from falling when stepped on and damaged.

If you want to do something different, I leave you with an idea that I liked: to glue black cardboard circles to the sheet (you can also paint them with an indelible marker) to give it a different touch.

Mummy Costume

Also very simple to do and in a few minutes. You will only need bandages or a sheet cut by hand into strips and wrap your little one.

Try to leave some loose strips to give it the appearance of a living dead, and you can also stain them with red paint as if it were blood.

For any of the costumes, face makeup can be an ideal complement. It is not necessary that the costumes are too elaborate, since good makeup can make a difference.

For the spider costume you can simulate a spider web with a black eyeliner pencil or face paint (see the example of the cover photo). If you dare, paint some spiders on the face. For the ghost costume, if the face is not covered, you can make two black circles around the eyes.

On the other hand, for the mummy, you can do something very elaborate as the example you see in the photo, or simply make deep dark circles around the eyes and some blood marks so that it looks more dark.

As I said before, Halloween It can be celebrated without just spending money, and children have a great time equally, if they need elaborate costumes. I hope these ideas to do three last-minute homemade costumes they have inspired you to characterize the night of the 31st to your little ones.
