How families who collect it are mounted

Colecho It is the word that colloquially defines the action of sleeping with the children in the same bed or with a crib or bed next to that of mom and dad.

Many couples leave their children sleeping in the same bed and many others prefer to expand the furniture and take advantage of spaces to make small puzzles in their bedrooms with the intention of increasing the bed width.

From the Natural Parenting forum I bring you some photos for you to see how families who collect it are mounted. So you can see some solutions for when you have a child or even two who sleep in the same bed.

The first photo, mine

The image that heads this entry corresponds to our bedroom. The bed measures 150 cm and in it we were sleeping for more than two years Miriam, Jon and me.

Then Aran arrived and we coupled a colecho cradle until the day he began to move too much, at which time we put a little bed bought in Ikea (which you see under the window).

Aran sleeps on the bed, then there is mom, next to him, Jon and finally me, who acts as a barrier for Jon (although he does not move as much and is more aware of the limits of the mattress).

The “Mipetisa” solution

"Mipetisa" has a 150 cm bed with a sidecar mini-cot. Joel, the baby, starts sleeping in it, although depending on the chest you take during the night you may end up sleeping between your father and your mother.

In the photo you see Joel sleeping in the crib taking advantage of part of the bed.

Sleeping with a 4 year old girl

This is the room of “Mar_tyka”, a 150 cm bed next to a 90 cm bed in which Beatriz, 4 years old, sleeps. The order in which they sleep is dad-mom-Beatriz.

The room of "elecora" (and the cat)

"Elecora" has a bed of 150 cm next to a cot in sidecar to which they have removed a side.

The order in which they sleep is dad-mom-Cora. The cat has no specific place. He usually sleeps "where he catches him."

Another large crib in sidecar

This is the "andrindri" room. They have a 150 cm bed next to an Ikea crib to which they have also removed one of the sides.

The order in which they sleep at the beginning is Darío-mama-papa, although at night they usually alternate to mama-Darío-papa. The truth is that Darío is usually more in bed than in the crib (and in the photo he shows it to us).

The room of “Gigi2012”

This is the room of “Gigi2012”, which presents the same solution as the previous ones. Cot in sidecar at the same level as the double bed and the established order Sofia-mom-dad.

The bedside table has moved to the foot of the crib (this sounds to me, our bedside table is in another room).

The 2 × 2 bed of Silvia and the mini-cot wardrobe

Silvia has a mini-crib next to the bed, however, since Aaron always sleeps in the bed, which is 200 cm (what envy), it ends up being more a surface for storing clothes than a place to sleep.

This reminds me of the first crib we bought, with its bars and its protections. We have ridden it with both Jon and Aran and it has ended up being a magnificent toy guard (come on, he is 4 years old and no child has released it).

The order in which Silvia's family sleeps is Aaron-mom-dad, although during the night the mom-Aaron-dad position is usually given.

Everybody to the floor

Nadya and her family have decided to put the mattresses directly on the floor. Little Andres is already crawling and, to avoid danger, they have preferred to lower the bed to ground level (cheaper than bringing the floor closer to the bed ...).

The order in which they sleep is Andrés-mama-papa and mama-Andrés-papa (as you see, parents are perfect barriers).

To make this invention they have placed two individual mattresses on the floor joined with a large mattress cover.

And that's all. This is how the families who decided to spend the nights with our children sleep (sleep). As you see no need to sleep tight since there is usually the possibility of adding cots or beds.

Another thing is that our little ones want to have us close since the most usual is that, despite having enough space, a leg, an arm, or a child ends up above us.
