Gift ideas for Father's Day

I know I'm a little late (or not). Only two days to go father's Day and it can cost to find according to what items, but I, just in case, I make a quick compilation of ideas to give (us) to parents.

Valuing a little the tastes of men it is clear that we really like electronic and technological gadgets and are usually safe success. On the other hand there are very revealing books in terms of parenting that are enjoyable to read and can help many parents understand their babies and children a little more.

I hope you find it useful ...

Sony Cyber-shot DSC W210 camera

A few days ago I brought you a few tips to take pictures of our offspring. For this it is necessary to have a decent camera with a rather small size, in order to always carry it, wherever you go. This camera, which is that of the image that presides over the entrance, has dimensions of 95.2 x 56.5 x 21.8 mm and weighs only 118 grams. Being a compact, the manual options are scarce and many processes are automated with preset configurations, however, in my view, it more than meets the expectations of the average user.

It has a 12 megapixel sensor, 4x optical zoom Carl Zeiss, smile and face detection and intelligent scene recognition to take the best possible picture.

Personally I have always been Canon, but this Sony model was given to me a few days ago and I am delighted with it.

Sanyo Xacti CA8

This camcorder is an SUV capable of recording video underwater (or on the surface with the peculiarity that it can get wet).

Ideal to avoid dangers of splashes, to avoid recording with fear of getting wet and even to keep your first bath, your first splash in the pool and your first sea swell.

It is a gun-type camera, very comfortable to use with one hand and that has the possibility of being able to take pictures while recording video. It has an autonomy of just over an hour and is submersible up to 1.5 meters. As children usually measure less than that is perfectly recommended.

Asus EeePC 901

For some time now, the so-called netbooks or ultraportables are sweeping the computer market. There are many options and the tendency is to set the standard at 10 ". However, I personally like this one the most, which has an 8.9" screen diagonal, precisely because it is one of the lightest and little ones.

It has an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor (like most), which is quite limited when compared to the processors of lifelong laptops, but enough to carry out daily office and internet tasks. They have a battery life of 4-6 hours, which makes them very interesting.

There are two versions of it, one with Linux, cheaper and with 20 GB of hard disk and another with Windows XP, which when paying license costs more money and also has 12 GB of hard disk, less than the other version.

My recommendation, since it is a secondary computer, is to buy the 20 Gb version, since Linux is a lighter system and has many applications for most uses. These days is on offer in Redcoon for 199 Euros.

SanDisk Cruzer Pattern 8 GB USB flash drive

For some reason the Popes We have a kind of obsession with things with a lot of capacity, that are small and if they can be beautiful, better than better.

I have chosen a USB stick because it is a widely used tool and because in them we can save the photos of our children and take them where we want to show them, without the need to load the albums of a lifetime.

I have chosen this model although there are many others available. It has 8 GB, which I think is a very reasonable amount (although there are already 16 GB, 32 GB and even 64 GB) and the price does not skyrocket.

This particular model costs 22 Euros in PcComponentes. For 7 euros more you can buy one of 16 Gb, but the visual factor is lost, being simpler.

Twister towel

Changing the third, that not only man lives, an original towel for the pool or the beach lives. Nothing less than a towel with the Twister game incorporated. It comes with two inflatable dice and is a perfect excuse to have a good time with our children doing the thousand and one poses.

It costs 29.5 Euros and can be obtained at Ziclotech (although it is currently sold out).

"Kiss me a lot", by Carlos González

One of the most important books on the current scene in terms of babies. It is the book that introduced me to the wonderful world of the baby and that helped me understand them.

It is a very entertaining and easy-to-read book that deals with many of the hottest topics of today's society with regard to babies and children and that clarifies many false myths and many strange recommendations of those that are always said and nobody knows very much well why.

"His son, a competent person", by Jesper Juul

Another great book that helps treat children like the people they are. If "Kiss me a lot" is like a guide to understand babies, "Your child, a competent person" is the guide to understand older children.

Its reading is a before and after in the way of treating and educating children, because it brings us closer to them from a respectful vision, demonstrating that they are more capable people than we believe.

A huge kiss from his wife and son (s)

This gift is free, but worth millions. As things stand today there is no reason to follow the "business hours" that tells us when to buy gifts.

Many parents are filled with joy with these kinds of gifts. Receiving a kiss from your family members is priceless. For example, I don't ask for more ...

And this is all that comes to mind like that by boat soon to give on father's day. Of course there are thousands of other possibilities and it is in the hands of moms to select a gift based on the individuality of each dad.
