The ideal temperature for the baby to sleep

The room temperature is a fundamental aspect for a good rest, so we must take it into account when we have a baby at home, especially at bedtime.

Although a temperature between 22 and 24 degrees is recommended during the day, during the night the ideal temperature for the children's room is between 18 and 20 degrees, taking into account that the baby sleeps under the cover of the bedding or sleeping bag.

Of course, we want to prevent it from going cold at night, but sometimes we sin overprotective and cover it too much. Nor is it good for the baby to sweat, so for your well-being, it is advisable not to overcoat and keep the room at a pleasant temperature, regardless of the season of the year in which we are.

In winter, the heating thermostats allow to regulate the temperature, while in summer, if you turn to the air conditioner, keep in mind that it is not convenient for the baby to sleep with the appliance on and much less that it is within reach of the air flow. Ideally, turn it on for a while before putting it to bed but then turn it off.

To know the ambient temperature, there are several multifunctional thermometers on the market that, in addition to measuring fever, allow you to control the temperature of the baby's room.

As a somewhat more complex but very effective solution, there are systems such as Airzone Aidoo Baby, which I have met at the Babies & Moms Fair that allows to maintain a constant climate in every corner of the room.
