Aquamar, Health at Sea

Today, a project developed by the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council aimed at babies and mothers, pregnant and suffering from cancer and fibromyalgia begins on the beach of Las Teresitas, in Tenerife. “Aquamar-health in the Sea”, a free therapy that will be carried out on the aforementioned beach and that will last until September, in the morning and with groups of between 10 and 30 people.

Marine aqua therapy is thus installed on the island to announce the start of the First European Project of Health at Sea funded by the Department of Health and with the collaboration of Anaga-Teide Rotary Club.

Already last year the “Aquamassalud” project had great success among pregnant women and families with babies, enjoying recreational, educational and therapeutic activities. In Babies and more we announced his proposal to beat the Guinnes record of babies submerged in the water, which had the professional experience of the same therapist and therapist researcher at the sea Raúl More. These activities are designed for babies and children of between 2 months and 3 years of age, as well as pregnant women who have passed the first trimester.

To participate it is only necessary to be registered in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a medical certificate and parental authorization for minors.
