Matting what we said yesterday about the increase in the detection of child abuse in the Community of Madrid, the defender of the minor indicates that although it is significant, going from 10% in 2005 to 40% in 2006, there is still a lot way and greater collaboration is needed by everyone to detect and stop any type of child abuse, be it physical, psychological or sexual.
There is no need to have regrets if it is a case nested in the family itself, since the complaint depends on the child who is suffering from a certain abuse is not marked psychologically and can develop properly. The ombudsman encourages everyone to become aware of the problem and act accordingly. We emphasize this issue again because it is of vital importance, child abuse should not be allowed in any area and as that which can occur within a family is the most complicated to detect, they should be underlined with more aplomb. The road is long and presents difficulties, but they can be perfectly overcome with everyone's collaboration, you just have to keep this in mind, "what you don't want for your children, you don't want for other children."
