Swim with babies and young children

Its author, Barbara Ahar, discovers the wonderful world of swimming for babies and toddlers. It opens the possibility of the baby experiencing the locomotion in the water from the sixth or seventh week of life.

This book, which is in its fifth edition, is designed to stimulate the movement of the baby and for parents to have a few moments in which to maintain close body contact with their children, in the relaxing environment of hot water.

Divided into two parts, the first is designed for babies from the sixth week of life and is divided into hours. For example: the first hour will be used to get used to space; the second, to dive into; the third, to swim on his back; the fourth, to slide, etc.

It is also distributed by hours, dedicating the first to habituation and the others, up to ten hours, to different exercises with which to get acquainted and enjoy the water. The book is illustrated with photographs and specific drawings of some movements. Undoubtedly, the book will contribute to broadening the range of action, strengthening the muscles of the legs and backs, instilling a sense of balance and preventing damage caused by poor postures.
