Imitates a Calvin Klein ad showing the stretch marks of her mother's belly

The ads are a reflection of inspiration for those who want a product, and often a perfect body. A sample of this are the Calvin Klein underwear ads, which shows models with toned figures and ideal proportions. But beauty is not a matter of perfection, and equally beautiful can be the figure of a woman after being a mother.

Brenda DeRouen, 26, and mother of an 8-year-old girl, decided mimic an announcement of Calvin Klein's underwear campaign showing stretch marks from her mother's belly.

The marks of motherhood

Since she gave birth to her son she has had trouble accepting the marks that motherhood left on her body. He said he has done everything to prevent stretch marks, but they didn't come out anyway. Finally, although it took many years, he managed to reconcile with his image and wanted to celebrate it with a very special photo session modeling Calvin Klein With a blunt message.

A girl doesn't have to have Kendall Jenner's body to look good in her Calvins.

All women who have been pregnant have, to a lesser or greater extent, the marks of motherhood on their bodies. Nine months of growth are not erased in a week, nor in a month, and many times they remain for life.

Stretch marks are a memory of those moments, which do not have to have a negative connotation. Conversely, they are a source of pride. A 'Loveyourlines' (love your stretch marks) campaign has started on the network as a way to honor those lines engraved on the skin.

The original ad

One of the latest campaigns was starring the model While Kendall Jenner with Justin Bieber, but for years the brand has shown the same line around their campaigns. Flat and toned bellies that appear in a sexy way under the underwear.

Accept the new body

A stomach with stretch marks can be as beautiful as a marked abdominal, because in reality, what is beautiful and what is not? What dictates a fashion brand is beautiful and real life is not?

Retrieving the figure after childbirth is not simple, and it is not necessary either. Most of the time it is not the same as we had before we were mothers. The important thing is to be prepared to accept those changes as something natural, a new body that is still beautiful despite the roundness and stretch marks.

After sharing her photos on social networks, Brenda received thousands of messages of support of mothers who have felt identified. They told her she looked "beautiful and inspiring" and helped many women get their bodies accepted after pregnancy.
