About a year ago, by this time, we talked about "Once upon a time", a project that was born with the intention of rewriting some of the best known stories and offering them to children in a more egalitarian, responsible and respectful version. Those who bought them now have, in a renewed version, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella.
Now the project comes back again with three new stories, also renewed, that advocate ending sexism, violence and inequalities in the original stories but maintaining the history, fantasy and essence of stories that have lasted for decades or even centuries. We talk about The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty and Hansel and Gretel. Three mythical titles that are reborn thanks to "Once upon a time".
The project in Verkami
As they did last year, the project is in Verkami in search of funding to become a reality. There are 27 days left and they have more than half of the funds, so they are likely to get it, especially given that Christmas is coming and that Stories can be a great gift for children and nephews.
