A distraction to the mobile can cost very expensive: save your daughter from falling into the void in the last second

A video that has gone viral on Twitter gives us the creeps (although fortunately it ended with a happy ending), and above all it makes us reflect on the serious consequences that can cause minimal distraction to the mobile.

A security camera recorded what happened in an office building in Medellín (Colombia), when a mother leaves the elevator with her little girl of just over a year recording voice memos on her mobile phone.

The girl goes by the hand of her mother, but in just an instant she releases and dangerously approaches the edge of a rail. The little girl is about to rush into the void, when the mother gets in the last second grab it by one leg to prevent the fall.

A person who witnessed the incident runs to the lower floor to help support the girl and so, along with other people who come quickly, they got rescue her without major consequences.

Fortunately, the mother was quick to save her; But it could have ended in tragedy. In Babies and more The distressing moment in which a child is saved from being crushed by a chest of drawers: anchor your furniture

In networks, some users comment that it's not the mother's fault. That she was watching her baby while talking on the phone and they praised his quick reflexes, in addition to adding that there should be a safety rail to prevent accidents.

The problem is not the cell phone. When you have children, you usually do a thousand things at the same time. That rail had to have an extra glass or protection.
The mother saved his life. He did one more thing that day, apart from the 100 that he was surely doing. //t.co/ofG52YRFOp

The woman is super attentive to the baby while talking. When the baby comes to look, and the glass is supposed to be, the mother follows her with her eyes and thanks to that she can grab it. But blaming him is easier because he has a cell phone. Go ahead.

But there were also very critical comments about the mother's distraction and not having the girl by the hand at all times.

Yes, but that does not take away the fact of prevention. That incident could be avoided by simply having the child held by the hand.
It seems to me that the point is more on the side of priorities to pay attention to.
