Family activities at the Madrid Air Museum

We continue to offer you ideas to enjoy with children, such as this proposal that can be enjoyed within a few weeks and until November. The Aeronautics and Astronautics Museum organizes a series of educational activities aimed at children in order to encourage the interest of the little ones in the History of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

On weekends the workshop for families "Traveling is a pleasure" is held, in which children from five years old can take a trip through the history of aviation, an adventure that they can remember thanks to a Photo postcard

The workshops will seek to create, through the concept of “travel” and through cooperation between children and adults, relationships between historical and current pieces of the Museum, also linking them with the daily life of the current family audience, all with a playful approach.

For primary school children there are two cycles of activities that will combine the visit with storytelling (for the initial cycle) and workshops for learning around emblematic pieces of the Museum's collections that will end with the implementation of the knowledge acquired.

In August the family workshops close for vacations, but from the end of September, in October and November they return to the load. It's Saturday at 11:30 in the morning, a great time to go as a family.

Family activities at the Madrid Air Museum are free and our colleagues from Peques and more recommend a visit to this space that combines learning and fun.
